The unbelievable creamy Carner Barcelona

It’s a mild sommer night in El Born, the beautiful liveley and turbulent area of Barcelona. The antique & book stores, expensive boutiques and shoe shops are closed. Now, it is much calmer and the air is clean – a soft breeze of lemon and bergamot blows from the mainland over the city. In the small cafés and bars life starts to pulsate again. Foreigners and locals are sitting together. Lordy – the time could make much slower. The small alleys are full of life – we see a small store, from where the smell from mellow figs, jasmine from Egypt and bentoin from Laos comes out. We go further in the direction of the harbor. From far away the wind brings up a spicy-gourmandy greeting from vanilla absolue from Madagascar, balm from Peru, Australian sandalwood and musk from the orient. Welcome to El Born!
